"Bart Got a Room" - opening April 3!

Hollywood, FL native Brian Hecker's wonderful comedy "Bart Got a  Room," filmed in Florida using the Florida Film Incentive, opens Friday April 3 at AMC Sunset Place and Aventura theaters.  Please support Brian and the Florida cast and crew by seeing it opening weekend (Friday and Saturday preferably).  Like "Boynton Beach" club before it, a strong opening in this market (it is also opening in NY and LA) will likely boost its release to a wider platform.  

The film, shot in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties in 2007, stars Stephen Kaplan, Alia Shawkat and Florida natives William H. Macy and Cheryl Hines.  Film Florida honored its premiere at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival as well as its selection as the closing night film and part of the Sunshine Celluloid program of the 2008 Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival.
