FORT LAUDERDALE FILM FESTIVAL KICKS OFF OCTOBER 23; FILM FLORIDA SPONSORS SUNSHINE CELLULOID

In keeping with Film Florida's mission of promoting and stimulating the indigenous filmmaking community, Film Florida is proud to have partnered with the State's Office of Film and Entertainment, members and  local business to support the 2009 Fort Lauderdale Film Festival (FLIFF) and Sunshine Celuloid. This program highlights recent films completed throughout Florida by Florida-based filmmakers.

FLIFF runs Friday, October 23rd through Wednesday, November 11. O2 Media, Inc., Film Florida and Broward County Film Commission are sponsoring a Filmmaker Brunch on Friday, November 6th at 02 Media Production Studios located in Pompano Beach. The brunch will celebrate Sunshine Celluloid, films with ties to the Sunshine State.
